Emily and Martie are sisters.
They were raised in Dallas, TX and
were 2 of the founding members of
the Dixie Chicks.
Emily first met singer/songwriter Charlie Robison at Gruene Hall
in Texas and then again at Fan Fair in 1998. Charlie became the cowboy who would take Emily away.
Emily and Charlie were wed on May 1, 1999.
Natalie was a bridesmaid and the groomsman
she
was matched with was Charlie's friend, Adrian Pasdar.
After the ceremony, Natalie and Adrian ended up in a swimming pool--and then in bed. "He stayed all night,"
says Maines. "But we didn't do anything. Except a lot of kissing. I knew I loved him from the first night."
Adrian proposed after joining Natalie on the road in early June of 2000, having asked her father, guitarist Lloyd
Maines, for permission to marry his daughter. - TV Guide
Natalie and Adrian were married in
Las Vegas,NV on June 24, 2000. But
before this event took place, two
other
people met and fell in love.
Natalie's sister, Kim, married
Shane Maguire in February 2000.
Shane is the brother of Gareth Maguire.
