2006 Accidents & Accusations Tour
In addition to new music from Taking the Long Way
album, the Dixie Chicks performed their previous hits with their A-list touring band. Austin sensation David
Grissom (Joe Ely, John Mellencamp) reprised his 2003 role as leader of the Dixie Chicks band which this time featured returning
acoustic guitarist extraordinaire Keith Sewell, (Ricky Skaggs), as well as Wallflowers drummer Fred Eltringham, Black Crowes/Chris
Robinson guitarist Audley Freed, west coast keyboard studio legend Larry Knechtel (Simon & Garfunkel,
Mamas & Papas, Beach Boys) former Soul Coughing bassist Sebastian Steinberg, pedal steel player Pete Finney (Doug Sahm,
Alison Moorer), Rod Stewart violinist Janna Jacoby and cellist John Krovoza.
The opening acts included Anna Nalick, Bob Schneider, Pete
Yorn, The Damwells
Setlist
This was the basic setlist at the outset of the tour. Some songs were changed or omitted at
certain points during the tour.

I Hope was performed earlier in the tour and then dropped but picked up again at the end. The
Chicks added The Neighbor to shows later in the tour in place of I Like It. They also played Thin Line with opening act and
co-writer Bob Schneider.
